Ms. Atre is a world-renowned  authority on Business Intelligence, and widely recognized as one of the premier BI  leaders worldwide. She is the founder and president of the Atre Group, a leading business Intelligence services and insights organization.  

Ms. Atre has written six books on database and business intelligence related topics, and is a frequent speaker at conferences around the world.  She is widely quoted in the trade press and has served as a columnist for many leading technology publications, including DM Review, Computer World and Information Week. She has been the key note speaker for several IDC events in Europe and North America.

Previously, Ms. Atre was a Partner with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and worked at IBM for 14 years.  She was an instructor at IBM's prestigious Systems Research Institute. Her award-winning book on database management systems, "Data Base: Structured Techniques for Design, Performance and Management" (John Wiley and Sons, New York) has become a classic on the subject.
